The Health Secretary has announced the tiers which will apply in England from Wednesday 2 December, when we will once again be permitted to welcome guests from Tier 1 and Tier 2 areas. Only Cornwall, the Isle of Wight and the Scilly Isles are in Tier 1.

We will unfortunately be unable to accept any guests from Tier 3.

The full list of areas is published here. There is also a postcode checker here

Only Cornwall, the Isle of Wight and the Scilly Isles are in Tier 1. We will be unable to accept any guests from Tier 3.

The guidance here sets out the requirements and travel advice for each tier.

Below is a brief guide to the advice that affects travel and hospitality:

Travel:
If you live in a tier 2 area, you may travel to a tier 1 area and must continue to follow tier 2 rules when you travel to a tier 1 area.

Social contact:
People in tier 2 will be able to gather in groups of up to 6 outdoors but must only socialise within their own household/support bubble indoors.

Bars, pubs, cafes and restaurants:
In tiers 1 and 2, the 10pm closing time for hospitality will be changed to last orders at 10pm with venues closing at 11pm to allow the safer dispersal of customers.

We look forward to St Tinney coming to life again and a warm welcome awaits. The Government have made into law that people in England, from different households are prohibited from gathering in groups of more than 6 people of any age.

Until this law is changed or withdrawn, we will not legally be able to accommodate groups of more than 6 people across one or more lodges or cottages, if the booking contains people from two or more separate households. If you have already made a future booking with us whereby your booking party in one or more self-catering lodge or cottage, exceeds 6 people, please get in touch as soon as possible.
