Showers & toilets
Our camping shower and toilet block was recently completely professionally refurbished. It has non slip safety flooring throughout, the shower cubicles are walk in wet room style, with push button operated showers, the wash basin are stainless steel with push button taps. An electric hair drier and baby changing table are located in the ladies washroom. Use of the hot water, showers and toilets is included in the tariff. Beach Meadow has ladies and mens toilets.
The camping fields
We have four low density camping and touring fields "Meadow", "Willow Park", "Beech Meadow" & "Oak Meadow".
We offer perimeter camping only, with very large pitches running around the four edges of the fields, with each pitch having a hedge behind and no-one pitched in front.
We charge per pitch, per person, per night, with each "pitch" accommodating a maximum of six people. We don't make additional charges for awnings and 2 cars can be accommodated per pitch.
Infants 2 years old and under can stay free of charge. Each pitch has a minimum of at least 2 metres clear fire gap between it and the next pitch. We do ask that the fire gap between pitches is kept clear of all belongings, bikes, cars, trailers, surf boards, BBQ's, guide ropes etc, the pitches themselves are large and perfectly able to contain all of your stuff.
Each field has drinking water, rubbish disposal and elson / waste / dirty water disposal points, so you can bring your own camping / cassette toilet and easily dispose of the waste. Such camping toilets these days are really very good, easily available, cost under £50 and are perfect for night time loo use.
St. Tinney has a combined recycling area outside the shower and toilet block.
Please see the site map which shows the pitch layouts.
The Meadow is level to slightly sloping, overlooking the valley with a track running diagonally across it towards the nature trail and fishing lakes. Five electrical hook up points run around two sides of the field. The entrance to the field is 70 metres from the shower, toilet and dish washing facilities. Caravan and camper van owners may wish to bring their levelling blocks. All pitches are 12 metres wide by 15 metres deep.
Willow Park is slightly sloping, is for tents only, has no electrical hook up points and is a short walk away from the shower, toilet and dish washing facilities at 165 metres. All pitches are a massive 15 metres wide by 15 metres deep, the pitches all run around the outside perimeter of the field which has a large expanse of grass in the middle and beautiful views over the surrounding countryside.
Beech Meadow is slightly sloping, is for tents only, has no electrical hook up points and is the furthest away from the shower, toilet and dish washing facilities at 185 metres. The pitches are a massive 15 metres x 15 metres in size, with 2 metres spacing between each pitch and all overlook the valley and countryside. The pitches only run around the outside of the field, which has views over the valley and a large grass area in the middle.
There is a children's adventure play frame in the middle of this field. There are ladies and mens toilets in this field.
PLEASE NOTE: Our Beech Meadow field has high voltage pylon wires running above and across it, but they do not cross directly over any of the pitches.
Two covered outdoor sinks with hot and cold running water for washing up cutlery and crockery are located outside the shower & toilet block.
