Two Bedroom Pine Lodges
- Located in the Old Orchard
Our 3 two bedroom pine lodges are arranged in a secluded group in the Old Orchard next to the Farmhouse. Each has its own picnic table outside.
Each lodge has:
- 37 inch Samsung widescreen HD TV, DVD player, mini stereo/iPod dock, Freesat HD TV channels
- 2 leather sofas
- Modern fitted ktchen, gas hob, built in oven, full size fridge freezer, microwave
- 1 double bedroom, 1 twin room
- Shower room with separate WC
- Free WiFi
- Equipped to accommodate 4 people plus a cot if required
Graded "FOUR STAR" by Visit Britain (formerly the English Tourism Council), the 2 bedroom Pine Lodges are equipped to an high standard to cater for up to FOUR people, plus a cot if required.
Each lodge is fully furnished and all bed linen is provided (apart from cot linen), and the beds made up with white "hotel style" bed linen, duvets and pillows ready for arrival.
Tea towels, oven gloves, bath towels are supplied in each lodge.
The kitchens are equipped with oven, microwave, toaster, kettle, coffee maker, steam iron, ironing board, vacuum cleaner and an excellent range of crockery, cutlery, kitchen tools, stainless steel saucepans, etc.
Cots & high chairs are supplied free of charge to the lodges should they be required. They have an open plan lounge and kitchen/diner, and a wood decked veranda.
The lounges are equipped with 37" Samsung widescreen HD TV's, HD Freesat TV Channels, DVD Player, mini stereo/iPod dock, with 2 leather sofas. The dining areas have a pine dining table with 4 chairs.
The master bedroom is furnished with double bed, built in wardrobe and bedside cupboards.
The second bedroom is a twin room with single beds, with built in wardrobe and cupboards.
There is gas central heating throughout with radiators in all rooms, plus an additional electric "coal effect" style fire in the lounge.
The bathroom has a shower (no bath), wash basin & toilet. There is also a second cloakroom, with hand basin and WC.
Gas & Electricity charged in addition to the tarrif price.
In recent years, the price of gas and electricity has risen so much, we now have to charge for energy consumption in addition to the rental tariff, at cost price. Each lodge is fitted with an electric and gas meter which accepts £1 coins. Clearly how much electricity or gas is used, depends on the individual visitor and the time of year. The lodges are fitted throughout with low energy lightbulbs and low energy consumption electrical items, as well as modern efficient combination gas boilers. As a guide, expect the cost of energy consumption to be the same as you would pay at home for your usual domestic consumption during the same time period as your holiday.
Parking and access
Due to their location in a small group by the farmhouse, you cannot park immediately outside these lodges, but you can park within 50 metres of them. Each lodge is reached by three steps up to the wooden decking. The lodges are accessed via a short flight of concrete steps from the parking area. Please let us know at the time of booking if you or any members of your party have any difficulty with access or mobility, and we will advise upon the suitability of the accommodation.
No Smoking or Pets
We do not allow smoking in any of our lodges, nor can we accommodate dogs or pets of any kind.
