Facilities at St. Tinney Farm Holidays

St. Tinney is a small, family run and family orientated holiday park. Our lodges are all graded as FOUR STAR “Excellent” Chalets by the ETC and we are graded and inspected every year.

We let the lodges all year round & our static caravan holiday homes are let from Easter to the beginning of November. The camping fields are open from Easter until the beginning of October. The cost of Gas & Electricity usage is included in our caravan holiday homes tariff. Use of Gas & Electricity, including gas central heating, to all our lodges is charged in addition to the tariff price by £1 coin meters.

All bed linen (sheets, duvets & pillows) is provided, free of charge, to all lodges & caravans and all beds are made up ready for visitor’s arrival. Bath and hand towels are provided to the lodges, but not to the caravans. Accommodation is let from 15:00 on the day of arrival and we ask that the accommodation is vacated by 10:00 on the day of departure.

THE ST. TINNEY ARMS & SITE SHOP

Our on-site club pub (the St. Tinney Arms) and shop are open from the 13th March to the 6th of November 2010, with traditional pub food which is served every evening.

The bar and Games Room are housed within tastefully converted farm buildings, with exposed wooden beams and traditional slate walls.

We stock a range of beers, largers, stouts, ciders, wines and real ales, along with a fine selection of spirits and soft drinks! We have a selection of traditional card and board games for people to enjoy. Additional seating is located above the bar in a converted hay loft.

The local area is well served by small general stores at Marshgate and Wainhouse Corner and larger national supermarkets can be found in Camelford (Co-Op, Spar), Bude (Morrisons, Sainsburys, Co-Op) and Launceston (Tesco superstore Open 24/7 except Sundays, Co-Op).

GAMES ROOM

The games room is open all year round from 10:00 and contains snack machines, a pool table, jukebox and arcade game machines.

OUTDOOR HEATED SWIMMING POOL

Constructed in 2007, our outdoor heated swimming pool is open from 22th May to 11th September 2010. Please read the information signs outside the pool area, opening times are 9am to 5pm Monday to Friday, and 10am to 5pm Saturdays and Sundays. We ask that all under 18 year olds, are accompanied by someone over the age of 18 at all times in the pool area. For safety reasons, we reserve the right to close the pool in adverse weather conditions.

NATURE TRAIL

Visitors of all ages can explore our farm & Nature Trail, with its professionally designed information boards and quiz leaflets, which can be obtained free of charge from reception.

FREE PONY RIDES FOR CHILDREN UNDER 6 STONE

Free pony rides, led around our sand school-riding ring are offered to young children, from the 4th April to 31st October, on Monday, Tuesday & Thursday mornings, weather permitting, with a weight limit of 6 stone. Please check the signs by the sand school for exact daily times.

 

LAUNDRY ROOM ON SITE

Our laundry is open all year round and contains 2 washing machines, 2 tumble driers, an ironing board and steam iron.

COARSE FISHING ON SITE

Coarse fishing at St Tinney is excellent, with catches of over 100lb per day session happening on a regular basis.

Fishing is charged at £15 per rod, per person, per week or part week . These fees cover fishing in all five lakes.  

 

INTERNET ACCESS

Wireless Broadband Internet access, is available in all self catering accommodation (lodges and caravan holiday homes), the bar and games room. The wireless internet access signal may not reach all camping pitches.

 

NO SMOKING POLICY

All of our self catering accommodation (lodges and caravan holiday homes) are now non-smoking. The public areas of the shower block, dish washing area, shop, laundry, reception, bar & games room are also non-smoking.

Things to see and do near by
There are many activities to enjoy around St. Tinney Farm all year and whatever the weather. As well as the simply stunning natural scenary, activities close by include: A large indoor heated swimming pool and leisure complex with fun slides, gym, golf, sailing, sea fishing, horse riding, cinema, go-karting, quad biking, paint ball, ten pin bowling, surfing and micro-lighting.
